Is this really cut from G-BYGD?

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasives - they will take the original paint with them. The aluminium is sealed at the edges and will not corrode indoors.

Light - Medium - Heavy - Super

Terms of the so called WAKE TURBULENCE CATEGORY. Each aircraft belongs to a category based on its maximum certified take-off mass.

The Boeing 747 is a "HEAVY".

We were able to resurrect this heavy type aircraft with a special edition.

The "heavy" aircrafttags have 3 times the thickness of the normal ones. We cut them out of overlapping fuselage panels.

Please be informed, that you order a piece of aviation history. This aircrafttag travelled for more than 2 decades around the world between +40°C and -60°C. This is why you may find dents and scratches on it. As well imperfections of paint may occur.But this is what we want to provide to you.

HEAVY What "HEAVY" means

Air traffic control sorts aircraft by wake turbulence category: Light, Medium, Heavy, Super. A wide-body like this one is a "Heavy" - and pilots say the word on every radio call.

Our HEAVY edition is cut from overlapping fuselage panels, which makes it roughly three times the thickness of a standard piece. It's noticeably more substantial in the hand.

Scratches are the point

This aluminium spent decades between +40 °C on the ramp and −60 °C at altitude, through rain, hail, de-icing fluid and ultraviolet light. It has dents, scratches and paint wear. That wear is the evidence that it flew - a flawless piece would mean it never did.
