About this aircraft

Another officially licensed aircrafttag.

This Boeing 747-400 was delivered to United Airlines in 1992 with the registration N188UA. Itwas powered by four PW 4056 engines. From 2005 onwards, Corsair International operated this Jumbo.

This airline was established in 1981 and started operations as Corse Air International. It was founded by the Corsican Rossi family. In 1990 it was acquired by Nouvelles Frontières, a French tour operator, and the name was changed to Corsair. Between 2005 and 2012 the name was changed to Corsairfly.

The airline held the record for most seats on a passenger aircraft, with 587 seats on its Boeing 747-400suntil they received a new interior which led to a new lower capacity of 533 passengers.

F-HSEA was stored in 2020 and finally scrapped one year later.

Please be informed, that you order a piece of aviation history. This aircrafttag travelled for more than 1 decade around the world between +40°C and -60°C. This is why you may find dents and scratches on it. As well imperfections of paint may occur. But this is what we want to provide to you.

We remind you that this aircrafttag is not suitable for children.

Scratches are the point

This aluminium spent decades between +40 °C on the ramp and −60 °C at altitude, through rain, hail, de-icing fluid and ultraviolet light. It has dents, scratches and paint wear. That wear is the evidence that it flew - a flawless piece would mean it never did.
