About this aircraft

!SPECIAL EDITION! - backside is engraved

D-AIRB was one of the oldest A321.

Built in 1993, stored in 2020 in Budapest and finally scrapped in 2024.

The aircraft is an A321-100.
These 100 series aircraft can hardly keep up with modern airbuses or even the A321-200.
The maximum takeoff weight and landing weight are significantly lower, which of course affects the payload and range.
The performance of the engines is also weaker, which means that this aircraft is subject to some limitations.

But nonetheless, D-AIRB was a tireless workhorse that reliably brought hundreds of thousands of passengers to their destinations.
And now also available as an aircrafttag.

Landing of D-AIRB in old colors:

Please be informed, that you order a piece of aviation history. This aircrafttag travelled for more than 1 decade around the world between +40°C and -60°C. This is why you may find dents and scratches on it. As well imperfections of paint may occur. But this is what we want to provide to you.

We remind you that this aircrafttag is not suitable for children.

Scratches are the point

This aluminium spent decades between +40 °C on the ramp and −60 °C at altitude, through rain, hail, de-icing fluid and ultraviolet light. It has dents, scratches and paint wear. That wear is the evidence that it flew - a flawless piece would mean it never did.
