Is this really cut from HB-IQC?

Pieces are cut from painted fuselage panels - the exterior skin, not the interior trim. Which part of the aircraft a given piece came from depends on where the livery fell on the airframe. Certificate of authenticity included.

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasives - they will take the original paint with them. The aluminium is sealed at the edges and will not corrode indoors.

About this aircraft

Originally, the aircraft was delivered to the legendary Swissair in 1998 with Pratt and Whitney engines. After the grounding, which is still bitterly remembered by all aviation fans, it was taken over by Swiss International Airlines and was in service with Brussels Airlines until 2021. In 2006 Swiss joined Star Alliance, the world largest airline network.

The Airbus A330-223 thought it had found its final resting place in Enschede in 2021 before we went there and kissed it awake again.
